On November 13, I gave a presentation at the Longwood Cricket Club. The topic was Magical Moments in Sports. I had selected 5 moments in sports that I witnessed either live or on TV, that are magical to me, that I presented to the crowd:
- Tennis: Australian Open 2003 Andy Roddick Wins Marathon Match against El Aynaoui. I watched the last set on TV in my pj, before I went to work. I have the whole match on a DVD. What a match!
- Baseball: 2004 ALCS Gm 4: Dave Roberts steals a base, then ties the game. I watched it on TV, and I became a diehard Red Sox fan after this game!
- Ice Hockey: Boston Bruins raise 2011 Stanley Cup Champion Banner. I was at the TD Garden for this. It was truly magical!
- Soccer: Karlsruher SC vs. Valencia, UEFA, at Karlsruhe Wildpark Stadium, Germany. My favorite team wins 7-0 and Edgar Schmidt scores 4 times! Euro Eddie!
- Ice Hockey: Stanley Cup 1st Round Playoff Game 7, Comeback win for the Bruins against the Maple Leafs, in Boston. I watched the whole game on TV, and I was totally exhausted after it finished. Wow!!
After the presentation I introduced everyone to my next project, that I’m writing a book. This video supported my Kickstarter campaign. This is the first version of the video. During my 30 day campaign, I updated the video twice, so there was a total of 3 different versions.
