My third presentation in the My Life in Tennis series, on December 9, was on the topic three awesome trophies. This presentation was also held at the Longwood Covered Courts. Unfortunately, I don’t think most people understood what a unique opportunity this was to see 3 tennis trophies that are part of tennis history.

• 1914 Covered Courts Club Championship Trophy
• 1926 USLTA Men’s Doubles Grasscourt Championship Trophy at Longwood Cricket Club (Don Budge/Gene Mako over Van Ryn/Allison)
• 1964 US Pro Winners Trophy at Longwood Cricket Club (Rod Laver over Pancho Gonzales).
